When I'm not buried in code or research papers, you can
usually find me exploring the world, or at least planning my
next escape from it. Traveling gives me a fresh perspective,
while my two cats make sure I never forget the art of
persuasion (mostly convincing them to forgive me for leaving
the house).
I also love getting my hands messy with clay. Sculpting is
my offline, hands-on therapy. Shaping something tangible
helps me counterbalance all the abstract thinking I do in
front of a computer. When my hands aren’t covered in clay,
I’m likely watching a thoughtful film, drawn to cinema that
asks good questions, rewards attention, and lingers long
after the credits roll.
Between traveling, cat diplomacy, clay adventures, and a
deep appreciation for intelligent movies, life outside tech
keeps me curious, playful, and ready to bring new ideas back
into my work, often with a smile, sometimes with a smudge of
clay on my sleeve.
